SLUGFEED LLC ("SlugFeed," "we," "us") is a YouTube production agency. We collect information you provide directly:

  • Client inquiries — name, email address, company name, and project details you share when contacting us about production services
  • Casting applications — name, city and country, languages, contact details, and the materials you submit (showreels, self-tapes, photos, links to social profiles)
  • Client engagements — contact, account, and billing information needed to deliver services under a written agreement

We also collect some information automatically when you use the website:

  • Device and browser information
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Usage data (pages visited, timestamps)
  • Cookies and similar technologies

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate about projects
  • Review casting applications and match talent to production briefs
  • Provide production services and manage engagements under the applicable agreement
  • Process payments and invoices
  • Send service-related emails and updates
  • Improve the website and our services
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Casting & Talent Database

If you apply to a casting, we add your profile and submitted materials to our talent database so we can consider you for current and future productions. We may share your profile with prospective clients and production partners solely for casting consideration. Joining is free, and you can request removal of your profile at any time by emailing vlad@slugfeed.ai — we will delete your data within 30 days.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate:

  • Hosting & infrastructure providers — serving the website and storing data (including Supabase for our client portal's database, authentication, and file storage)
  • Payment processors — such as Stripe, for client payments (we do not store your full card details)
  • Email providers — for correspondence and service updates
  • Analytics providers — anonymized usage analytics to improve the website

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for them to function.

5. Data Retention

We keep inquiry and project data for as long as needed to communicate with you and deliver services, and contractual and billing records for as long as the law requires. Talent profiles stay in our casting database until you ask us to remove them. When data is no longer needed, we delete it — personal data is removed within 30 days of a deletion request, except where we must retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the website working and, for client portal users, to keep you signed in. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the website is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We work with clients and talent worldwide. Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely wherever it is processed.

10. Children's Privacy

The website and our castings are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and casting applicants must be at least 18 years old.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
